SCO Economic Forum to be Held in May

According to the Information Policy Department of Governor of the Sverdlovskaya oblast, the Fourteenth Russian Economic Forum, dedicated to the development of economic cooperation of the SCO member states, will be held in Yekaterinburg in May. It is planned to consider at sections and roundtables industrial policy in conditions of crisis, SCO’s potential as a platform for extension of economic cooperation between Russia and the Asian region countries. As is noted in the Department, work on the forum organization had begun as far back as in November 2008.
