Representatives of Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the session.
The participants of the SCO Anti-Terrorist Structure agreed that anti-terrorist structures, created within the framework of the Organization, act effectively and adequately to modern threats.
“During the meeting we have approved the program on the SCO member states cooperation in struggle against terrorism, extremism and separatism for 2010-2012. We have also discussed and approved the draft Convention on struggle against terrorism,” said the First Vice-Director of Russian FSB Sergei Smirnov.
The draft Convention on struggle against terrorism after going through inside state reconciliation procedures will be sent to the heads of the SCO member states.
